The Office of Information Technology will upgrade Boise State’s VoIP (telephone and voicemail platform) Friday, May 15, through Sunday, May 17.
The upgrade will require faculty and staff who use the university’s voicemail system to set a new voicemail PIN as soon as possible after the maintenance is complete. Instructions and additional upgrade information will be sent to the campus community the week of May 11.
The upgrade transition period will begin at 7 a.m. Friday, May 15, and end by 10 a.m. Sunday, May 17. During this time, employees will be able to access voicemail messages as usual by dialing (208) 426-5999 off campus, dialing 6-5999 on campus, or through the “messages” button on your desk phone.
Additionally, there will be a brief 10-15 minute outage of voice services for each phone extension on Sunday morning as the upgrade process completes.
