Sanghee Park, an assistant professor in the School of Public Service’s public policy and administration program, recently co-authored an article in Public Administration Review.
“A Comparative Study of Gender Representation and Social Outcomes: The Effect of Political and Bureaucratic Representation” examines gender representation of government leadership in the legislative and executive branches. Using data from 135 countries, the article also explores how gender representation improves social equity related to women’s social outcomes.
