John Freemuth, the Cecil D. Andrus endowed chair for environment and public lands and a university distinguished professor, spoke at the WGA Invasive Mussel Leadership Forum Aug. 27-28 in Las Vegas.
The meeting’s goal was to determine common interagency priorities for the prevention and containment of invasive zebra and quagga mussels in the Western U.S. and identify a shared interagency strategy to address priorities.
