Boise State University will hold its second annual giving day on Thursday, Sept. 12. On Bronco Giving Day, a 36-hour online giving campaign will provide quick online access for alumni, donors and friends to support several key initiatives within the colleges, athletics, departments and other university units.
Boise State is asking Broncos and friends from all over the world to support an area of the university that is meaningful to them. Throughout the day, live leaderboards will share the day’s progress, on which donors and alumni can watch in real-time the impact of their giving.
Individuals’ gifts on Bronco Giving Day will have a bigger impact, thanks to generous Bronco supporters who fund multiple challenges. These challenges will have double the impact, as some matching gifts will be implemented, adding to the excitement of the day.
Major gift support drives up totals and helps to ensure the giving day is a highly visible celebration of Boise State and the generosity of those who support it. To support Bronco Giving Day with a generous match, contact Cara Walker, senior director of annual giving at carawalker@boisestate.edu.
Individuals also can support Bronco Giving Day by becoming one of several social media ambassadors. Ambassadors will have access to a personal dashboard with special social media tools that make it even easier to reach and share the excitement with their networks. For more information on becoming an ambassador, contact Andrew Gauss, senior director of advancement communications, at andrewgauss@boisestate.edu.
