BroncoFit’s annual Wellness Carnival is set for 9 a.m.-noon Sept. 5 in the Simplot Ballroom located in the Student Union Building. The event, which will include over 20 vendors, on-site health screenings and giveaways, is free and open to students, faculty, staff and the general public.
The carnival aims to connect people to community resources that span eight dimensions of wellness: social, financial, emotional, intellectual, occupational, environmental, physical and spiritual. Attendees will have the opportunity to connect with community partners that can assist and support their overall health and well-being while learning about resources that they can access in the future.
Community-based resources include St. Luke’s Health System, Boise Co-op, Killer Creamery, Bogus Basin Mountain Recreation, Idaho Humane Society and more to be announced leading up to the event.
The Wellness Carnival is also free for vendors. Sign-ups are due Aug. 5. To sign up as a vendor or for any general questions about the event, please contact Emily Gravel-Fletcher.
