Boise State’s transportation and parking department is taking advantage of the reduced summer traffic on campus and performing maintenance of various parking lots and roads over the next several weeks. Work crews will begin resurfacing and striping the Liberal Arts parking lot June 9, with four more lots scheduled for a refresh this summer. The Health Sciences Riverside north and south lots, the Administration Building east lot, and the Towers lot will follow in the subsequent weeks. Permit holders using these lots will be notified by email of alternate parking locations and provided detailed closure dates.
Additional maintenance is scheduled for this summer, which will have less impact on parking. This includes restriping the Lincoln and Brady garages, resurfacing and striping Bronco Circle, and repainting various fire lane curbs around campus.
While this maintenance is in progress, signage, barricades and flagging will designate closed areas. The campus community is reminded to be respectful of these temporary closures and not enter areas signed to restrict access.
