
Gautam Basu Thakur, associate professor of English, attended LACK, a conference “devoted to the promotion and development of thought in the tradition of Lacanian psychoanalytic theory and German Idealism,” at Clark University in Massachusetts May 9-11.
Basu Thakur presented a paper titled “Dangerous Freedom: Fanon, Racial Antagonism and the Death Drive,” and chaired a panel on “Method.”
