A paper by Felice B. Klein, an assistant professor in the Department of Management, won the Best Convention Paper award for the HR Division at the 2019 Academy of Management conference, selected from more than 500 papers submitted to the HR division this year.
Klein’s paper, titled “The Road to Pay Inequity Is Paved with Good Intentions: Examining the Gender Pay Gap in Employee Equity-based Awards,” also was accepted for presentation at the 79th annual meeting of the Academy of Management and will be published in the Best Paper Proceedings, available online in July/August. Best Paper Proceedings include approximately the top ten percent of accepted papers as designated by the program chair of each division/interest group.
Klein’s co-authors are Ryan Hammond, Aaron Hill and Ryan Stice-Lusvardi.
Klein will attend the Academy of Management annual meeting in August in Boston.
