Brian McNatt, an associate professor in the Department of Management, had an article, “Enhancing Public Speaking Confidence, Skills and Performance: An Experiment of Service-learning,” published in the International Journal of Management Education.
The article shows that service-learning projects improve public speaking self-efficacy and performance and can help with students’ public speaking anxiety.
