The Idaho State Board of Education will hold a special board meeting at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 23, to consider a contract and announce the next president of Boise State University. Board member and Boise State President Screening Committee Chair Linda Clark will then introduce the new president, who will offer brief remarks.
The campus community is invited to attend the announcement on the sixth floor of the Stueckle Sky Center in the Skyline Room. A live stream of the event will be shown on screens in the Student Union Building Special Events Center and dining area. Interim President Martin Schimpf has authorized one hour of release time, with management approval, for employees to attend the announcement.
