The Division of Research and Economic Development invites the campus community to a farewell reception honoring Cece Gassner, who is leaving her role as the director of economic development to serve as the vice president for economic development at Texas A&M University Commerce. The farewell reception will be held on at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, March 6, at the Ron and Linda Yanke Family Research Park.
“Cece will certainly be missed. She has skillfully and thoughtfully represented Boise State University directly benefiting the community in our role as a metropolitan University. We wish her success in her new role as the First Vice President for Economic Development at Texas A&M Commerce,” said Interim Vice President for Research and Economic Development Harold Blackman.
“Working for Boise State has been an absolute dream, and I will truly miss my amazing colleagues here who show up every day to serve our students and create a powerful future for the University. The decision to leave was not easy, and I look forward to hearing about the continued success of Boise State,” Gassner said.
