Richard “Rick” Frisch has returned to Boise State University as interim vice president for University Advancement.
Frisch previously served as vice president and executive director of the Boise State Foundation from 2005 to 2007, and spent two years as director of corporate and foundation relations at the university. He replaces Laura C. Simic.
“I have full confidence that University Advancement will continue its great work in support of the university and community under the very capable leadership of Rick Frisch,” Boise State Interim President Martin Schimpf said.
Frisch has worked for Boise-based EGE Consulting since 2009, specializing in non-profit management development, gift advancement programs and event management. He also served as president and CEO of Catholic Community Foundation in Phoenix, Arizona, from April 2014 to March 2018.
He has led university foundations and fundraising efforts at Washington State University, University of Hawaii and University of Arizona, among others. He holds a bachelor of science in business degree in marketing from the University of Arizona.
