Muffet Jones presented at the Open Education Conference Oct. 10-12 in Niagara Falls, NY.
Her presentation, “OER: Art or Science? Both!” shared her creation of an OER text for the Art 100 program as well as the data she’s collected of student perceptions from the first semester’s launch. The text is still a work in progress as OER is fluid, mutable and one of its best features is how updateable it is. Jones plans on doing more data collection from her class and from other Art 100 faculty in the future.
