Bob Casper presented at the Open Education Conference Oct. 10-12 in Niagara Falls, NY.
His presentation was titled, “Weapon of Mas Creation: Student Focused Teaching Materials – Created by Students!” Faculty have discovered how free, flexible and student-centric resources are empowering the learner. Embracing OER is a remedy to high-priced course material constraints placed on the back of students. These limits have presented a challenge and opportunity for the cleaver instructor to engage their students in ways that impact learning without impacting the wallet.
