New Student Programs is looking for student leaders for summer 2019 orientations. Students who become orientation leaders get the opportunity to develop a personal leadership style, build professional confidence, develop communication skills and work with a diverse team of their peers toward a common goal — helping incoming students and their families experience a smooth transition into the Bronco family.
Student information sessions will be held from 6-7 p.m. Nov. 28 and 6-7 p.m. Jan. 3 in the Student Union Building Forum.
By sharing their knowledge about the many opportunities available on campus, telling their stories and generating the positive spirit that is Boise State University, orientation leaders help new Broncos feel like they belong even before they start classes.
New Student Programs wants students from a wide variety of backgrounds: right out of high school, transfer students, nontraditional, veterans, local residents, as well as out of state.
