Donate to Help Students’ Families in Saipan, Tinian

Students from Saipan

Super Typhoon Yutu hit the U.S. islands of Saipan and Tinian last week and caused extensive damage. The campus community is coming together to support Boise State students from the islands and their families.

A campus drive is taking place to collect needed items that will be boxed up Saturday and shipped to the islands. Needed items include: blankets, bed sheets, towels, clothes (men, women, children), baby wipes, tooth brushes, tooth paste, shampoo, bar soaps, dish soaps, pillows, socks , laundry soaps, working gloves, trash bags, flashlights, batteries, lanterns, candles, diapers, baby formulas, disinfectant wipes, school bags, hand sanitizers, hand soap, canned goods and ramen noodles.

Donations may be dropped off in the Human Resources office on campus between now and end of business on Friday. For questions, or to arrange drop-offs after Friday, please contact project coordinator Noreen Ada Camacho at (208) 426-1638 (office), (208) 602-1829 (cell) or by email to NoreenCamacho@boisestate.edu.
