Reserve Your Seat: Boise State Public Radio and HuffPost Host Conversation on Medicaid Expansion

Idahoans will make the decision in the upcoming Nov. 6 election whether or not to expand Medicaid in Idaho. The ballot initiative has attracted attention from local and national news outlets.

Boise State Public Radio and HuffPost will cohost a discussion on the issue at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 11 at the Yanke Family Research Building. The event is free and open to the public, but seating is limited. Reserve your seat online. Doors open at 5:30 p.m.

Panelists will include state Rep. Christie Perry, the co-chair of Idahoans for Healthcare; House Majority Caucus Chairman John Vander Woude; community member Donna Scranton, and HuffPost senior reporter Jonathan Cohn. James Dawson of Boise State Public Radio will moderate the discussion.

The event is part of HuffPost’s “Listen to America” RV tour — a two-week journey through five western states to talk about issues affecting communities in California, Nevada, Idaho, Arizona and Colorado.
