Karen Pinto was invited to present at Fordham University’s Early Modern Workshop on Jewish History Aug. 16 in New York. Since this year’s theme was “Space and Identity,” Pinto presented a paper and ran an hour-long discussion on the question of “Jewish Places and Spaces on Medieval Islamic Maps.” Pinto’s work was well received and she plans to publish her findings.
