Brian Hodges co-authored a book (with Jo Nardolillo), “Cello Secrets: Over 100 Performance Strategies for the Advanced Cellist,” published by Rowman and Littlefield in July.
The book offers more than 100 of the most helpful “insider tricks” cellists use to master the instrument. The book explains and illustrates each technique and is intended as an accessible textbook for advanced cello players.
Hodges also wrote an article on performance anxiety and memorization, published in the June issue of The Strad magazine.
