The Department of Public Safety is piloting an exciting new program for the 2018-2019 school year. After listening to their customers, they have identified the need for additional parking permit options for students enrolled in evening and weekend classes.
Student PM Permit: A new permit developed for students taking only evening and/or weekend classes. This permit allows for parking in any Reserve or Commuter zone from 4 p.m. to midnight on weekdays and all day until midnight on weekends. This permit is offered at a rate of $84 for the academic year.
Plaza Lots Non-Peak-Time Hourly Rates: The East and West Plaza lots, located on either side of the “B,” will have hourly parking rates lowered to $1.75 per hour after 5:30 p.m. on weekdays and all day on weekends.
These new options should allow for improved and affordable access to parking during non-peak hours. Monitoring of the new offerings will continue and adjustments may be made as needed.
