Jonathan Lashley participated in the Open Textbook Network’s annual summit and facilitated a lightning round session for attendees titled “Opportunities, Approaches and Resources for OER Research.”
The Open Textbook Network (OTN) is an international community comprised of nearly 800 member campuses. Funded by the William and Flora Hewlett Foundation and based out of the University of Minnesota Center for Open Education, the OTN “helps higher education institutions and systems advance the use of open textbooks and practices on their campuses.” Boise State recently became the first public institution in Idaho to join the OTN and Lashley represents Boise State as a faculty presenter for the network.
