Finalists will be on campus next week to interview for the position of executive director of eCampus/associate dean of Extended Studies. The campus community is encouraged to attend open campus forums scheduled for each of the finalists:
Dr. Christine Bauer: 1:30 p.m. May 21, SUB Ah Fong Room
Bauer has served as director of eCampus Learning and Instructional Design at Boise State University since 2012. Previously she was E-Learning director at Northwest Nazarene University (2007-12), curriculum director at Idaho Digital Learning Academy (2004-07), and held several other professional roles. She has a Ph.D. in Education, Instructional Design for Online Learning from Capella University, two master’s degrees from Boise State University, and two bachelor degrees from Whitworth College.
Dr. Thomas Scott: 1:30 p.m. May 22, SUB Ah Fong Room
Scott has been director of eLearning at North Idaho College since 2013. Prior to that he held positions at College of Southern Nevada as senior analyst, Office of eLearning (2011-13), manager of the Center for Teaching Innovation (2008-11), and the coordinator for faculty development (2007-08). He has a Ph.D. In Educational Leadership from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, a master of education and a bachelor of science from UNLV, and a bachelor of fine arts from New York University.
Dr. Eddie Loo: 1:30 p.m. May 23, SUB Alexander Room
Loo has been the director of instructional communications systems at the University of Wisconsin since 2010. Prior to that he was director of continuing education and professional development at Iowa State University (2007-10) and at Utah State University where he was director of online education (2006-07), director of innovative learning design center (2004-06), and instructional designer (2000-04). He has a Ph.D. in Instructional Technology and a Master of Science in Instructional Technology, both from Utah State University. He has a bachelor of arts from the University of Calgary.
