The Idaho State Board of Education has named five finalists for the presidency of Boise State University. Each is visiting campus for one day.
Faculty and staff are invited to attend an open forum with Robbyn Wacker from 1:15-2:15 p.m. Tuesday, April 24. A student open forum will be held from 2:30-3:30 p.m. Both forums are in the Simplot Ballroom BDE, Student Union Building.
A community reception also will be open to the public from 5-7 p.m. at the Alumni and Friends Center.
Wacker currently is senior campaign advisor in the Office of Development and Alumni Relations at the University of Northern Colorado and recently served as its provost and senior vice president. For six years, she provided leadership and oversight of the quality of the university’s academic and research programs and other programs central to promoting student success.
She previously served as dean and as an assistant vice president for graduate education, research and sponsored programs, and extended campus.
Wacker received a Ph.D. in Sociology from Iowa State University, and a Master’s and Bachelor’s in Gerontology from the University of Northern Colorado.
