The Boise State University Alumni Association Intercollegiate Knights Chapter (IK) seeks teams of four to participate in the Drive for Impact Golf Tournament fundraiser, which benefits students from foster care who attend Boise State.
The tournament will be held on Monday, May 14, at Plantation Golf Course in Boise. Teams will begin a “shotgun start” at 10 a.m. followed by a 5 p.m. dinner held at the golf course. The cost is $100 per player and includes registration, prize bag, two drink tickets, golf cart rental and dinner.
The Impact Scholars Program is designed to increase enrollment, retention and graduation rates of students with foster care experience who attend Boise State University. By engaging, supporting and equipping students to take ownership of their college experience, Impact Scholars become authors of personal and community change. The Intercollegiate Knights Endowed Scholarship is one of the many aspects of the program that help students reach their academic goals. This financial scholarship was formed a year ago through the IK Chapter and has begun helping students achieve academic success at Boise State.
