Arthur Scarritt and Sharon Paterson traveled to Long Beach, California, March 28-31 with 13 undergraduates to present their papers at the Pacific Sociological Association annual conference.

Scarritt, along with students Fructoso Basuldua, Colin Fenello and Cliff Ross, presented a paper titled: “STEM is White Male Affirmative Action: the racism and sexism behind the numbers.”

Paterson presented “The Class Ceiling: Neoliberal higher education and the production of class disadvantage.”

The following students will present their findings again at the Boise State Undergraduate Research Conference from noon-2:30 p.m. April 16:
