The Summer Youth Sports Program, sponsored by the Department of Kinesiology, will open registration early for Boise State faculty and staff on April 2.
Registration for the community will open April 9 – make sure to sign up early as classes will fill up quickly.
This year, new classes have been added to the program to help provide more variety for older participants. There are now more than 20 traditional (e.g., basketball, soccer, volleyball, gymnastics, swimming) and non-traditional (e.g., quidditch, lacrosse, disc golf, mountain biking basics, billiards, rock climbing) physical activities for children between 5-14 years of age. Children of all abilities and skill levels are welcome.
The Summer Youth Sports Program will be offered over two, three-week sessions (session one: June 11- June 29 and session two: July 9 – July 27). For more information, scheduling and fees, please contact Laura Petranek at SummerYouthSports@boisestate.edu or (208) 426- 4270.
