Online Professional Development Offered to Boise State Employees

As part of ongoing efforts to enhance professional development opportunities, the university is partnering with Academic Impressions (AI) to brings higher education-specific professional and leadership development to Boise State University.

Academic Impressions offers colleges and universities online learning through webcasts, digital recordings and articles on a wide range of topics. These topics include academic affairs, advancement, alumni, the business office, enrollment management and student affairs.

“We’re excited to partner with Academic Impressions,” said Martin Schimpf, provost and vice president for academic affairs. “Their professional development offerings bring practical, hands-on learning for faculty and staff.”

Employees can create a free account on the AI website, using their boisestate.edu email address. After setting up an account, users can access data by clicking on “Training,” then selecting the “Included in My Membership” box. This ensures only training and events included in Boise State’s membership are displayed. Training will be available starting this month and will remain open for one year.
