Central Receiving to Move to Temporary Location Beginning Feb. 26

Following in the footsteps of the Facilities Operations and Maintenance administration, the Central Receiving (CR) team will temporary relocate as it awaits the completion of its new facility being built at Belmont Drive and Euclid Avenue.

CR plans to move from its current location at 1455 University Drive by Feb. 23 and relocate to the west side of Albertsons Stadium. CR officially will begin operations from the stadium on Feb. 26. A doorbell located outside the fenced stadium truck bay will be available for those looking to pick up packages directly from CR.

The move may cause temporary package delivery delays and users are encouraged to delay any office orders to be delivered until March 5, if possible. All large equipment and freight should be coordinated for delivery direct to the department location if possible, rather than passing through CR, as space is limited.

CR will operate with the same hours: 7 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday-Friday. Due to the NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament scheduled at Taco Bell Arena, CR will be closed Thursday, March 15, and will resume operations March 16.

CR plans to remain at the stadium until the new facility is complete in late spring.

As a reminder, CR does not handle the mailing and shipping of packages. All packages to be mailed can be taken to Bronco Express in the Student Union. No personal packages or mail are to be shipped to campus, as it is a misuse of state funds.
