The Idaho Press-Tribune featured Art Gregory, an adjunct in Boise State’s Department of Communication, in a recent article about Gregory’s efforts to turn a historic Nampa building, former home of KFXD, into a broadcast museum.
Gregory is a longtime radio broadcaster, founder and president of the History of Idaho Broadcasting Foundation.
The foundation made a down payment on the building, built in 1937 at 1024 12th Ave. South in Nampa, and is now working to raise $225,000 to complete the sale.
Gregory said that future plans include offering workshops and classes in the museum as well as building a state-of-the-art radio production studio. The foundation, he said, has more than 100 members from across the country.
