Mark your calendars now for one of the hottest events of the year, an action-packed chili cook-off and fundraiser from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 23, in the Allen Noble Hall of Fame. Proceeds support the Goodwill Fund that assists classified employees at Boise State who need an extra meal each week.
Grab an apron and prepare for battle, or grab a bowl and prepare for overwhelming deliciousness. President Kustra has granted one hour of release time with supervisor approval.
Five dollar suggested donation for lunch with additional tickets for great raffle prizes available for $1 each at the door. Goodwill Fund donations also can be made online.
The planning group also is looking for donations of the following: raffle prizes, gift certificates, cornbread, chopped onions, Fritos chips, shredded cheese, butter, honey, saltine crackers, sour cream, canned chili, bowls, utensils and napkins.
