Sara Goltry

Graduate Research Assistant

Department of Materials Science & Engineering

Sara Goltry

Sara joined the Nanoscale Materials and Device Group in the summerof 2011. She is pursuing a Ph.D.  in Materials Science & Engineering. Sara graduated summa cum laude from the College of Idaho in Caldwell, Idaho, in 2009 with a B.S. in Mathematics and a minor in Physics. During the summer of 2008, she worked at Los Alamos National Laboratory as a participant in an REU program funded by the National Science Foundation. In the gap between her time at the College of Idaho and Boise State University, Sara taught as an adjunct instructor at both the College of Idaho and Treasure Valley Community College. In her spare time, she loves to get out and enjoy all that Idaho has to offer, including hiking, backpacking, skiing, and snowboarding.
