Undergraduate Research Assistant
Department of Mechanical and Biomedical Engineering
Courtney Hollar joined the Nanoscale Materials and Device Group and the Mullner Group during Winter Break 2010. She is currently a senior majoring in Mechanical Engineering. Courtney is involved in many community activities, including: Engineers without Borders Club, Society of Women Engineers Club and the Mechanical Engineering Club. As part of the Mechanical Engineering Club, Courtney worked on the Mini-Baja Team. Courtney has been the secretary of Society of Women Engineers Club since 2011. She was also an AVID tutor for students at Riverglen Junior High. Courtney’s research is on evaluating the magnetic properties of NiMnGa using atomic force microscopy and magnetic force microscopy.
