Undergraduate Research Assistant

Amber joined the Nanoscale Materials and Device Group with the Nano Fabrication team after her sophomore year in the summer of 2011. She is a first generation college student pursuing a major in Materials Science and Engineering with minors in Biomedical Engineering and Physics. In the summer of 2012, she joined with Dr. Peter Mullner’s research group in studying the magnetic shape memory alloy, Ni-Mn-Ga, in nano- and micro-structures. Prior to working with the group, she was an AVID tutor at a local junior high where she helped students focus on preparing for college.
