About Kimo Wilson

Bio

Kimo Wilson was raised in the greater Phoenix area of Arizona and came to Boise in 2004 to attend Boise State University. He joined the Micron School of Materials Science and Engineering at Boise State University in November 2019 as a Research Associate working in the Nanoscale Materials and Device group with Profs. Bill Knowlton and Bernard Yurke. His previous work included being a Research Associate at Boise State (2004–2013) in the research group of Distinguished Professor Peter Müllner in the Magnetic Materials Laboratory. After graduating, Kimo spent five years at Micron working as a Process Engineer in the Transmission Electron Microscopy Lab. Kimo likes to be outside and enjoys doing a little of everything: cooking, biking, skiing, snowboarding, woodworking, welding, auto restoration, camping, hiking, and backpacking.
