Nanoscale Materials & Device Research Group Spear-Heads Keck Award

Will Hughes (PI and lead materials scientist), Elton Graugnard (lead experimentalist), Bernie Yurke (lead theorist), Jeunghoon Lee (lead chemist), and Cheryl Jorcyk (lead biologist) have received Boise State’s first grant from the prestigious W. M. Keck Foundation.  The Keck Foundation is known for funding high-risk, high-return projects in science, engineering, and medical research.  The $1M charitable gift will support development of an inexpensive and portable system that could provide early-stage diagnosis and treatment of hundreds of diseases.
