Boise’s Tuba Christmas has been an ongoing community gathering of tuba and euphonium musicians since 1992. Members of this unique ensemble include student musicians from local high schools, middle schools, colleges/universities, and adult musicians from various professions. It is truly a Boise tradition!
Tuba and euphonium players of all ages are invited to join us on Saturday, December 7, 2024, for Boise’s Tuba Christmas. If you would like to participate, simply show up at 1:00 pm for registration, and we will begin our rehearsal at 1:30 pm. See the Schedule, Costs, and What to Bring sections below for more information. This year, Boise’s Tuba Christmas will be directed by Boise State faculty member Dr. Sarah Paradis (Professor of Trombone and Euphonium) with guest conductor Phil Hartman (Professor of Music Education).
If you wish to attend the performance as an audience member, please join us at 4:00 pm at the Capitol building in downtown Boise. This event is free and open to the public, and families are encouraged to attend!
