The Semiconductor for All Grant will greatly enhance microelectronic and semiconductor education at the university level. It will provide new curriculum in areas of engineering and technology. Additionally, the grant will help open doors for students’ careers in the STEM and non-STEM fields.
Boise State Course Updates
The Semiconductor for All grant supports the development of new modules, labs, and courses to be integrated university-wide and across disciplines: Chemistry, Physics, Business, STEM Education, and more. This content will reach multiple adjacent degree pathways for students.

Growth and Expansion of IML
The Semiconductor for All grant has had the opportunity to help fund the growth and expansion of the Idaho Microfabrication Laboratory.
This will upscale experiential learning research opportunities for Boise State students.
Our Chip Ambassadors!
The MER Institute and its education outreach program has hired Undergraduate Chip Ambassadors to teach lesson in local K-12 schools. These students are passionate about education, students in STEM, and brilliant. They will take their knowledge and expertise and pass it along to K-12 classrooms.
