Chip, Chip, Hooray! for Educators

Description:
Discover the wonder of microelectronics and semiconductors through this in-depth training on the Chip, Chip, Hooray! course, created in partnership with the Idaho Digital Learning Alliance and Boise State University. This course delves into what semiconductors are, their significance in modern society, and how to connect students with career opportunities. Educators will leave with a comprehensive understanding of semiconductor principles, best teaching practices, and prepared curriculum. Each participant will receive a classroom set of kits to conduct experiments and activities.
Participants can earn up to 3 continuing education credits from Boise State. Two credits will be received for participation and completion of pre-work. An additional 3rd can be earned from completing post-work. There will be a separate registration link for the last credit that will be provided on the final day of the course.
All course and credit fees will be covered. For educators traveling from outside the Treasure Valley, travel and lodging expenses will be provided.

What's Included in Your Kit:
ELEGOO Uno Project Basic Starter Kits or SparkFun Tinker Kits
You will receive a class set of either one of these kits! They are used for hands-on exploring of circuitry, coding, and more advanced concepts.
These kits include an Arduino board, breadboard, jumper wires, LEDs, resistors, potentiometers, photoresistors, and more.
