Semiconductor Career Connections

The MER Institute will be working in conjunction with Boise State College of Engineering to host the Semiconductor Career Connections fair. Students will be able to network with employers, faculty, and others in the trade. This will be an incredible opportunity for students to meet and hear from professionals about the semiconductor industry.

  • Round Robin Networking: Facilitate interactive discussions for a deeper understanding of semiconductor employers, career opportunities, and the exciting work this industry entails.
  • Open Networking: Continue your conversations, start new ones, and solidify your connections as the evening concludes.
  • Career Services: Support to review resumes and provide career networking guidance.

Jinju Beineke headshotSpeaker Bio

MER Institute Industry Advisory Board member Jinju Beineke will be speaking.  Beineke is currently the Senior Director of Technology at Photronics, a global semiconductor company specializing in Photomask Manufacturing. Photronics is the only US-based photomask company in the world, located in Boise, Idaho. She has over 17 years of experience in photomask manufacturing, equipment, and R&D, with emphasis on new process development. Beineke has co-authored multiple papers in advanced Photomask process development, including EUV technology. She is currently a PhD candidate at Boise State University.

  • Registration on Handshake is REQUIRED
  • Professional business attire is recommended, but not required.
  • Bring copies of resumes to hand out to company representatives and/or be reviewed by Career Services
