Start to prepare now with our Cryptology Security Analyst (CSA) Graduate Certificate. In the CSA Graduate Certificate Program you will gain a thorough technical knowledge of cryptography and cryptanalysis and gain hands-on experience needed in combating common cybersecurity threats. The program is offered in both modes of delivery, asynchronously online and in person on-campus.

Admission Requirements

To be considered for the Certificate program, applicants must meet the following requirements:

    • At least a baccalaureate degree from an accredited U.S. academic institution
    • An undergraduate grade point average (GPA) of 3.00*.

*Students with a GPA lower than 3.0 may require special provisions for admission to the program

Program Courses

  • Take at least 6 credits from the following:

    MATH508 – Advanced Asymmetric Cryptography and Cryptanalysis (3 credits)

    MATH509 – Symmetric Key Cryptography and Cryptanalysis (3 credit)

    MATH510 – Quantum and Post Quantum Cryptography (3 credit)
  • Take at least 6 credits from the following:

    CORE502 – Cyber Threat Modeling (1credit)

    CORE503 – Information Assurance (1credit)

    CORE512 – Introduction to Deep Learning (1credit)

    CORE514 – Cyber Informed Engineering (1credit)

    CORE552 – Cyber Digital and Signal Intelligence (1credit)

    MATH/CS667 – Advances in Applied Cryptography (3 credits)

    CYBER500 – Introduction to Cybersecurity (3 credits)

    or any other graduate course approved by the program.
