The Fall 2023 Conference on Language, Identity, and Culture occurred on November 15 in the Student Union Building. The conference showcased the firsthand narratives of students from Dr. Nicole Brun-Mercer’s ENGL 101 and ENGL 101M classes. Student presentations encompassed their experiences during times of war and displacement, navigating life between two cultures, and the importance of learning a new language. Students in the class were also responsible for organizing and hosting the well attended event.
