New Read and Publish agreement starting in 2025
Albertsons Library is pleased to announce that a new Read and Publish agreement has been established between Boise State University and Elsevier to support our authors who wish to publish their research open access.
Through this agreement, corresponding authors affiliated with Boise State University can amplify the impact of their research and publish their articles open access in eligible Elsevier journals, often at no additional cost.
How does it work?
- Get started: review the Agreement between Boise State University and Elsevier.
- Check journal eligibility: with over 1,600 eligible hybrid journals, ensure the journal you wish to publish in is included in this agreement.
- Submit your paper: once your article is accepted, the article publishing charge (APC) will be covered by the agreement (subject to institutional approval).
- Publish open access: your article will be published as open access on ScienceDirect, the world’s largest research platform with over 1.5 million visitors daily, making your research even more impactful and inspiring greater scientific collaboration. Meet funders’ open access requirements, making your research and ideas easier to discover for a more accessible world of research.
