The Albertsons Library invites you to attend Misinfo Day on Thursday, March 17th from 11:30am-1:00pm on the library’s first floor. This interactive event offers a variety of activities and resources to help us better navigate the false and misleading information that has become an “infodemic” across the internet.
Try your hand at activities such as Spot the Troll and Which Face is Real? Construct your own conspiracy theory and learn how to communicate with those who believe in scientifically disproved information. This event is free and all are welcome. We’ll have forms available for students to document their attendance and engagement for those instructors who’d like to offer extra credit.
