Braille Writer Finger Guide
Erin Rainey, the braille transcriber for Idaho Educational Services for the Deaf and the Blind, contacted us during our campus closure about 3D printing a design made to assist individuals learning how to type on a braille writer by making it so that each finger only hits one key. We were unable to access the lab at the time, but reached out to two former employees– Kai Lansdell and Mason Hix –who both jumped on the opportunity to help out our local community. Currently, they have printed over 20 individual finger guides and are looking to continue working with Erin moving forward!
