Checking your unofficial transcript

You may check your unofficial transcripts at myBoiseState. Once your recently completed courses are posted to your transcript, you can run and use your unofficial transcript for recertification. You can find instructions for logging in and for finding your unofficial transcript here: Unofficial Transcript.

If you have difficulties, please contact the help desk at 208-426-HELP and they can assist with logging into myBoiseState.

Using your unofficial transcript with the State Department of Education

The Idaho State Department of Education accepts unofficial transcripts for certification renewal. For more information about using your unofficial transcripts for recertification, visit the Idaho State Department of Education.

Transcript Request for Idaho Educators

Free Transcript for Idaho Educators

Current Idaho educators qualify for a free official copy of their transcript upon request. This free transcript can only be sent to your home mailing address. For recertification purposes, the Idaho State Department of Education accepts unofficial transcripts. For more information on how to access your unofficial transcript or how to use your unofficial transcript for recertification, please check the section titled General Information on this page.

Please Note: The free transcript request process is not expedited and may take up to 5 business days to process. If you need your transcripts immediately, please follow the instructions in the Other Transcript Request section or print your unofficial transcripts directly from your student account.

Step 1: Verify your unofficial transcript

Check your unofficial transcript following the instructions in the section titled General Information, on this page. Verify that the course(s) you have taken have been posted to your transcript with a final grade. Regardless of when grades are posted or when a course ends, professional development courses do not post to your official transcript until the end of the semester.

Step 2: Verify or update your mailing address

The free transcript for Idaho Educators can only be sent to your Boise State mailing address. To verify or update your mailing address, follow the instructions provided by the Office of the Registrar on How to Add/Update Mailing Address.

Step 3: Transcript Request Form

Once you have verified that your unofficial transcript is accurate and that your mailing address is correct, you may submit the following online form to request your transcript. Idaho Educator Transcript Request Form.

Please allow up to five (5) business days to process your request.

Other Transcript Requests

If you need your transcript sent somewhere else

The free transcript request for Idaho educators can only be sent to your home mailing address. If you need your official transcript to be sent somewhere other than your home mailing address, you will need to order it through the National Student Clearinghouse.

If you need your transcript expedited

The free transcript request process is not expedited and may take up to 5 business days to process. If you need your transcripts immediately, please follow the instructions in the section titled Ordering Transcript Through the National Student Clearing House on this page or print your unofficial transcripts directly from your student account.

Ordering Transcript Through the National Student Clearinghouse

Instructions for ordering an official transcript through the National Student Clearinghouse can be found at Office of the Registrar – Transcripts under ‘Order Online’. Please note that there is a cost for this service.
