WORKSHOP: STORY OF YOUR CREATIVE ACTIVITY AND RESEARCH
9:15 AM TO 10:45 AM

Everyone loves a good story. Dr. Eric Jankowski is a storyteller of materials. As the Director of Boise State’s Micron Center for Materials Research, his students use computer simulation to design materials for sustainability. Recent focus areas include organic molecules for solar power generation and new composite materials for air taxis. In this Story Collider workshop, learn how to craft your own story. Whether talking about your research poster or explaining what you do to friends and family, this workshop will prepare you to have meaningful conversations about your work.

OUNDTABLES: MEET A PROF
11:00 AM TO 12:00 PM

Professors share how they work through a project, either one that’s been completed or one that’s an in-progress project (e.g., framing questions, generating ideas, choosing methods or creative practices, collecting data, analyzing data, connecting to other projects, etc.). You will be able to meet with two professors in two rounds of roundtables. Learn a bit about our Roundtable Professors.
