Educating others is part of our mission. We are committed to teaching students and naturalists about migratory birds, their conservation, and the field techniques used to study them.
We offer workshops semi-annually, including introductory raptor techniques and songbird banding workshops. Most workshops take place at our Lucky Peak station outside Boise, Idaho.
A number of our staff members are NABC certified Songbird and Raptor trainers. We offer formal certifications on request based on our availability. Contact us for more information.
Fall Workshops
In most years we offer at least one techniques workshop. These trainings are held in the fall, typically in September.
For more information on our workshop format and curriculum, follow the links here. Exact dates and updates for annual workshops will be added as information becomes available.
If you are interested in taking a workshop but none are currently scheduled, use this workshop interest form to let us know you’d like to receive updates as new workshops are finalized.
