Songbird Banding at Lucky Peak

Join us at our Lucky Peak Research Station and observe our fall migration bird banding. Meet our crew of scientists, watch as they measure and tag the birds, and even help release the birds once we’ve collected all our data.

Songbird banding takes place daily from July 16th through October 15th, weather depending. Songbird banding begins at sunrise each day. Find more information about when and how to attend on our Lucky Peak Project Page here.
