Federal Form I-9

Boise State University must complete Form I-9 to document verification of the identity and employment authorization of each new employee (both citizen and non-citizen) hired after November 6, 1986, to work in the United States in compliance with the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986.

Employee Information Form

This form provides important emergency and personal contact information to the University. Human Resource Services will have you complete this form when you complete your I-9.

Orientation for New Employees (ONE Boise State)

Join us on or after your first day in ONE Boise State where you will be introduced to the university, connected with resources to prepare you for success, network with other new colleagues, and understand the positive value of your role within our Boise State community. Full-time benefit-eligible employees will be automatically enrolled and a calendar invite will be sent to their employee email.


After your first day…

Self-Service for my.BoiseState

A notification letter will be sent to your department when your Employee Self Service Account has been established. To log in to myBoiseState you will use “Employee ID” and “User Name” contained in the letter along with instructions to gain access.

W-4 Tax Form

This form is used to declare your tax withholdings. You can complete this form online or by completing a paper copy in Human Resource Services, Capitol Village #3 between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday – Friday. Please consult your tax professional for any tax-related questions or advice.


Direct Deposit

Direct deposit is required for all University employees. You can sign-up for direct deposit online through Bronco Hub. Boise State University pays employees on a biweekly cycle. Your first paycheck may be issued as a paper check while direct deposit is being set up. If you do not have a bank account, Payroll Service will have your checks deposited to a debit card.

Employee Policies and Expectations Review

As a new Boise State employee, there are specific documents, policies, procedures, and training that you are required to read and understand to help you be successful in your career at the University. To that end, Boise State University requires you to complete the Employee Policies and Expectations Review. All new employees will receive an email invitation to complete the Employee Policies and Expectations Review.
