Affirmative Action

Human Resource services develops and implements the University’s Affirmative Action Plan (AAP). The AAP identifies the under-utilization of females and minorities in its workforce. This information is used in the University’s recruitment and retention efforts.

Under the AAP, the University makes good faith efforts to employ women, minorities, qualified individuals with disabilities, and protected veterans. The AAP is available to employees and job applicants upon request for review at the University, see the Taking Affirmative Action webpage.

Discrimination/Harassment Complaints

Boise State University is committed to maintaining a workplace that is free of unlawful discrimination and harassment. Accordingly, the University prohibits, to the extent permitted by law, discrimination and harassment against and individual on the basis of that person’s race, color, religion, gender, age, sexual orientation, national origin, physical or mental disability, veteran’s status, genetic information, or another status prohibited by applicable law. Allegations of discrimination or harassment are addressed in accordance with the University’s Non-discrimination and Anti-harassment Policy No. #1060.

The University will take prompt and appropriate action to prevent and correct conduct that violates this policy. All members of the university community are responsible for creating an environment that is free from unlawful discrimination and harassment.
